One Rainy Morning, One Photo Taken, and A New Painting is on its Way!
I started my second art class, taught by Rebecca Schweiger at The Art Studio NY.(www.rebeccarts.com) My first painting is based on a photograph I took one recent rainy morning on the Deegan Expressway in the Bronx. It's a mixed media piece on canvas, with acrylic paint using pieces of a paper copy of the photo I altered using Microsoft Picture Manager. This is the painting from class 1.

Such quick progress in such a short time. I am loving where this piece is going. The painting coupled with the copy of the original photograph. Thanks for the close up -- it really highlights the details.
