The Portrait

Well, I thought the painting was complete but, I guess it was complete as of November 23. Had one more go at this past week in Rebecca Schweiger's Art Class (The Art Studio NY. (www.rebeccarts.com) She suggested that I add more light and dark contrasts to highlight the contours and add greater depth to the face. So, here is the painting again, as of December 7, 2008. As an additional note, Rebecca has posted some of her art students work on her website and I'm very happy to announce that my Sedona painting has been included.
