The Round Up!

What the eyes see can be so magical and magnetic -just drawing you in for double takes and then pulling you back to look again. Life seems to go in circles- with so many things appearing connected. Below is a  spider web covered with raindrops - creating a blanket of circles over an amazing tapestry of threads.
And  a keyboard from an old typewriter. I just love the rusted keys!
And just had to take a closer look!

And gorgeous cupcakes idecorated to perfection in a bakery window.

A flower's center...
looking like a moment captured in a synchronized dance
 of a stunning water ballet!

And marbles just making their rounds for the day!
Here's a sight from this week's rain-  if you look closely, you can see that it's a reflection in a rain puddle - containing an inverted brick building with windows. But to me,  it's a striking painting; just one of dozens I see each day -  everywhere I look, where ever I go.

And, here's one of my favorite views. It's unbelievable how in just a few short weeks from the snowy baron tree trunks of winter,  everything just seems to be sprouting with new life- with these trees on Fifth avenue forming a wondrous
self-made canopy.

Most of the shots in this post made me think of circles, which made me think of cycles, which made me think of seasons, which brought me to your change of season image of the beautiful trees on Fifth Avenue. I am loving your puddle picture which to me looks like a sensational, mixed-media artwork. Thanks for showing us the world through your creative eyes.

Dear Jill,
I met you through Seth's blog and I FEEL I had let you down...you wanted to collaborate win an art exchange and I said yes... then the bottom fell out of my precarious health balancing act ...living with Lupus. I am so enthralled with these incredible images that they encouraged me to tell you how sorry I did not follow through back in January. Please forgive my lack of courage. Jill,
each image presents circles that are linked to each other. Each circle is an entity to itself however it connects with another. Seems to me they are a bit like all the creative souls in blog land. We are separate entities linked by our passion for art.

These are incredible photographs Jill, I love the spider web the most with the dew drops, and the way one image of yours always flows into the next... the cycle has returned to spring at last... what a beautiful place to walk you have. roxanne

Inspiring and beautiful images of circles and cycles. The theme is endless and you must have been in your poetic mood because there are no planets or any of last year’s joyful and fragile bubbles. Each image is a wondrous piece of art. I love your flower because of what you found. What a great vision to see the water ballet – yes!!! Steen

I like what Seth said about circles... maybe why I've been so into them lately. Your photography is stunning - how did you 'do' the first one of the spider and water drops?!
I've been trying to get on your blog for several days and then realized that I'm having trouble with Firefox so when I got your comment I tried Safari and it worked! Who knows, just so good to hear from you!!!
