Art Without a Reason

We wake and open our day
With peace and the beginning of our creative selves. With pictures in our mind Of how our day will unfold
And hope that serendipity and synchronicity will abound and catch us by surprise So that we can believe that it will be a day of artful thoughts
Poetic sights
And inspirations that will take us through until the end of the night.
Then we can reflect, appreciate and think how we can gift and be gifted in our day to come.

Wow! Jill this is beautiful and just what I needed to read first thing this morning - today is my b'day and wishing I was closer in miles to my family 3,000 miles away - your words are comforting and a reminder that I have a choice today of how I feel and how and if I create something new - thanks for this - hope all's good with you - love seeing your work - you inspire me! hugs - Reva (Los Angeles)

The pictures started my Monday morning. Gave me inspiration and made me believe this day will be valuable. Thanks a lot for the early post so a European can start his day this way! All images inspiring and beautiful - also the temple! Steen

Jill, this is so thoughtful and reflective. And isn't it wondrous when we slow down to look and listen...and nature gifts us with the unexpected, like this 'antelope' hidden in a tree...
