As you can see, I continue to be blessed - for here are the beautiful papers Lay Hoon of Mescrap Studio ( from Malaysia) sent as a participant in the amazing Woven Letters' Paper Swap. Hard to believe that this is the first paper exchange I've ever participated in!
On top of this, I was blessed to be partnered with LaWendula from her own Paper Exchange # 2. I received the most beautiful bundle of tags, papers, delicately patterned napkins, teas ( yes, some special extras in addition to papers and tags), home spun yarn, blessing cards, newspapers and book pages in other languages, water color paintings, an eraser, colored butterfly ( I love butterflies)....in addition to a beautiful hand made little journal book! Couldn't believe that there is also a card with a woman in front of a tree- the exact face I see in my Grandma Willow tree from Julie Prichard's Arboreal Collaboration, from The Land of Lost Luggage!!
Alicia Caudle from Altered Bits' Altered Blog sent me the most wonderful "Just Because" joy package -because she's so generous, kind, sweet and a special gift unto herself! And another first- my first frozen charlotte doll! You can also see the super antique optical lenses I bought from her Altered Bits Gallery and Shop below!
Way back in April, Sarah Fishburn of Ragtags Studio had a invitation for people to request ATC cards. Having never made an ATC card or received one, I had no idea what I was in store for. But low and behold, I received a package filled with the most wonderful cards. At the time, I really didn't even know what one was. Now, 8 months later, I can say I am beginning to understand them and have such an appreciation for their individuality, uniqueness, artistic expression and beauty that they each hold. So thank you Sarah - for I am enjoying these awesome ATC cards all over again!
For David Castle- I send out a huge thank you as I've been the very lucky recipient to win a Flapjack art work from his newest line which you can see below!
Here's a closer look of my super flapjack painting.
The colors sparkle with such life!
Blessings come in all shapes and sizes, colors, textures, and patterns.
But the most wonderful blessing
is having met such wonderful
artists and generous souls
in this treasured community!

Thank you, you have shown it all so nicely. And it's funny to see my things again. I hope you have lot's of fun with it. Btw: The woman in the tree is from the "We'moon" Calendar 2008.
And the newspaper is from - I am not sure- Croatia. (I can't read a word)
Beautiful stuff indeed! Love especially those ATCs. I'm addicted to this little cards.
Thanks for visiting my little blog! I so appreciate your comments about my birds on the frozen water. And - wonderful to visit your blog. I'll be back. Those flapjacks intrigue me. AND - I've got to figure out how to add paint into my playtime with Art.
5 minutes later a serendipitous update: After googling about - David Castle's studio is not far from where I live. How about that? Will have to check him out - soon! NOW, I'm REALLY REALLY happy I stopped by!
Hi Jill - it's so neat to see all this fantastic stuff! Gifts are great, aren't they? I got the most wonderful artwork as part of the art exchange too. I'm doing my next blog posting on that exchange as I've been pretty busy reporting on Pulp Redux. Great to Alicia up here on your post and Lisa Sarsfield.
Lot of inspiration tossed out here...
