A One Year Celebration of Jazworks

An amazing year has gone by - a year to nurture creativity, absorb all of the new visions of art in the everyday sights I see, and to appreciate and be patient with the continued ideas I have that I'm so eager to set free in the work I create. Today, I'm celebrating my one year jazworks anniversary by looking back at the paintings I've completed during this past year and looking at a couple of my favorite photos I've taken. But most exciting of all is my new collaborative altered book project InnerWorks I'm engaged in. It's the most spirited and meaningful project I've ever worked on-singularly and also for the first time within a group of such talented artists. I feel so connected to all my collaborators in their selection of themes - including earth tones, gift of the sea, Helen Keller, friendship, distressed elements and my theme of designs in nature. It's a euphoric feeling being a part of this magical journey filled with coincidences, synchronicites and astonishing discoveries each and every day. I will continue to make future posts on our progress including pictures and surprising stories that I've already encountered in my project so far. A Scene from Central Park A City Street Scene in the Bronx Summertime In Venice Jeweled Sedona Metamorphoisis My First Portrait Miniatures of Ponte Vedra Beach from A Room With a View Some of my photos that captivate me in some way.

Love the images. The painting in the middle with the red and aqua just sings, it really has the WOW factor, love it.
